Care plan creation

Chapter 08 · 1 min
The care plan — goals, MTUS-cited interventions, and RTW target

The psychologist needs to write a treatment plan. CareHub Intelligence drafted one from the intake plus the diagnosis. Three goals: trauma processing using Cognitive Processing Therapy, sleep restoration, and graded return-to-work preparation. The interventions cite the controlling guideline — MTUS §9792.24.2, which recommends trauma-focused CBT as first-line for PTSD secondary to industrial injury, 8 to 12 weekly sessions of 60 to 90 minutes.

Three things to notice. First, the plan cites the regulation. UR reviewers approve plans that reference MTUS at much higher rates than plans that don't. Second, the RTW target is explicit — 12 weeks, modified-duty progression. Carriers care about RTW more than any other metric. Third, the plan is editable. CareHub Intelligence drafted it; the psychologist owns it. She refines, activates.

Mid-care-plan, she wants to double-check her scoring intuition. She asks the Assistant — How is GAF scored? The answer comes back grounded in the CareHub Knowledge Base, with a citation chip showing the source markdown file in the internal corpus, when it was last reviewed, and by whom. Not a hallucination — a citation.
